GO Project Family 5K
Before heading to the GO Project Family 5K, I had the honor of speaking to my school at an assembly about my mission to help orphans around the world. I was blessed to share my heart and my passion with my school. My entire 3rd grade class is going to be working to help collect items for the Global Orphan Project for an upcoming trip! It is fun to share my story of orphan care with more people who are excited about helping in any way they can!
GLOBAL ORPHAN FAMILY 5K RUN/WALK
This year we participated in the team challenge...
our team name = REDFORD RACERS!
We raised over $1500 for my goal of a future home in India...
My friend Cara came to run and support the Redford Racers Team! After the earthquake in Haiti last year, Cara held a talent show and raised over $5000 to build a home in Port au Prince!
Another team mate, Brian Nagel.
We were so blessed to get to see him and his family over the weekend.
Mom, Ann Morrison, Cara Morrison, and me!
Once again this year, we were all out for the Fox Hunt! Mike Fox, the founder of GO Project, started 2 minutes ahead of the runners. Everyone who passed Mike during the run received a fun prize! John Michael, my brother, really wanted to catch Mike - he was ready to go, but at 35 degrees - the cold got the best of him. It was freezing!!! I was shivering for 4 hours...
Here he is on dad's shoulders as the race began.
My dad finishing strong.
Mike Fox, Dad, Alan Dietrich, Scott
Fellow teammate, John Stone, and also my Papa.
More teammates - the Willis Family! We love you guys....thanks for supporting the Redford Racers. We are so excited for your upcoming trips to Haiti! You will be blessed.
It's not to late to support my efforts for another orphan home. If you'd like to help me reach my goal of $5000 for a future home in India, you can order cards through the link on the upper right of this page, or send donations directly to the Global Orphan Project with a note specifying donation for "Isabelle's homes". THANK YOU!!!!
