Neva's Talent Show - GOD'S BIG ADVENTURE continues

What a day! Way to go Neva! Way to go God!!!

Our sweet friend Neva held her benefit concert/talent show/silent auction. It was incredible. God brought together people, friends, family, and strangers from all over the world for this one event. God used all of these people to raise the $5000 needed to build a home in Haiti! Isn't that amazing!!! Words aren't enough to express God's amazing work to bring this day about. We will post pics as soon as we can.

With Neva's accomplishments today, this finishes our goal of 10 homes for our village in Haiti. What does God have next? We wait to see!

Update: In the month of June Isabelle had the opportunity to speak at a Vacation Bible School and be apart of a benefit concert for her Haiti project. Both events were great successes. We continue to be in awe of how God stirs other people to get involved and how they use the treasures & talents they have for His glory. These 2 events raised an additional $850 for orphan homes. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated! We are grateful!

Why I Love Orphans

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!!! I feel this year will be full of promise and God's blessings.  Lately, I have been thinking about the true reason behind why I help orphans.  My work for Him comes from three main principles:  1.  Wait for HIS timing. Waiting on Him requires patience, it's not always easy, but who said following God and having patience would be easy? 2.  TRUST His plan for me. Trusting in Him is the basics of faith!  When you trust Him, you are showing Him you believe in and want His plan for your life. 3.  I couldn't let a problem go UNANSWERED.  After hearing about orphans and the daily struggles in their lives, I couldn't just stand back and watch.  I wanted to do something more.  Helping orphans, I believe is what God is asking me to do, now and in my future life.  These children mean to much to me, as a teenager I know what it means to have a good home, a warm bed and nice clothes. They don't have that ...

"Worship God, Change the World!"  World Mandate 2012 Waco, TX 5,000 people, awesome worship, amazing speakers, rich times of prayer, hilarious laughter, and IMPACT NOW - a creative place to engage and do something to CHANGE THE WORLD! We love the vision, the heart, the passion behind World Mandate - it's a place to catch vision, to be inspired, and to be moved into action for God's purposes in the world. In September 2011, Isabelle designed a WM exclusive card in order to raise funds to build a home in Rukore Village, Uganda.  She sold out of the 300 boxes and we had to take orders for more.  The home was built in March 2012 and the children have moved in!  This completed her 9th home!! This year for WM, Isabelle designed a new card based on photos she'd seen of the home in Rukore, Uganda.  We took 400 boxes - that's 4000 cards to sell with all of the proceeds going to the life care costs for the children living in that home for 3 years. ...
