God's Amazing Work!

After the Big Event, we were blessed to have a few more amazing experiences:

1. This is Isabelle & her new friend Neva at the Big Event. Neva came to meet Isabelle because she shares the same heart for Orphans that Isabelle has. We were so blessed & excited to meet her & her mom. Neva is going to have a talent show in 2010 to raise money for orphans. We hope to be able to go & support her!
2. Isabelle was asked to participate in a neighborhood Girls Night Out. She brought pictures from her trips & her cards to sell. She sold over 35 boxes of cards - it was an amazing night!!


3. One week after the big event, Isabelle spoke at a Church in KC. She did a great job & was greatly encouraged by the people there. The church's bookstore sold over 70 boxes of cards just that morning - we were truly humbled & grateful! At the church, we meet a Haitian woman who hugged & loved on Isabelle thanking her for all her hard work. We meet a 12 yr old boy who is so eager to sell his handmade jewelry & help Isabelle raise more funds. We met so many children who are eager to find out how God wants them to give - that was GREAT!!!

As we approach Thanksgiving, there are so many things for each of us to be thankful for. We have more than we need! Will you stop & ask yourself, "How/what is God asking me to give so that He can multiply it?" May you be forever grateful!

Why I Love Orphans

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!!! I feel this year will be full of promise and God's blessings.  Lately, I have been thinking about the true reason behind why I help orphans.  My work for Him comes from three main principles:  1.  Wait for HIS timing. Waiting on Him requires patience, it's not always easy, but who said following God and having patience would be easy? 2.  TRUST His plan for me. Trusting in Him is the basics of faith!  When you trust Him, you are showing Him you believe in and want His plan for your life. 3.  I couldn't let a problem go UNANSWERED.  After hearing about orphans and the daily struggles in their lives, I couldn't just stand back and watch.  I wanted to do something more.  Helping orphans, I believe is what God is asking me to do, now and in my future life.  These children mean to much to me, as a teenager I know what it means to have a good home, a warm bed and nice clothes. 1st Annual GO Project Run/Walk

What a fun morning with friends and for a GREAT cause! We were joined by our friends Myah & her mom Annie as we walked 3.2 miles for the Global Orphan Project. It was raining as we drove to the event, but THANKFULLY it did not rain on us at the walk! Isabelle was asked to start the race! She was pumped and got to blow a LOUD horn! She's in the pink pants/white shirt on the STUMP! Our 3 little racers finished in about 47 minutes!! Racin' for a great cause!

World Mandate 2012

"Worship God, Change the World!"  World Mandate 2012 Waco, TX 5,000 people, awesome worship, amazing speakers, rich times of prayer, hilarious laughter, and IMPACT NOW - a creative place to engage and do something to CHANGE THE WORLD! We love the vision, the heart, the passion behind World Mandate - it's a place to catch vision, to be inspired, and to be moved into action for God's purposes in the world. In September 2011, Isabelle designed a WM exclusive card in order to raise funds to build a home in Rukore Village, Uganda.  She sold out of the 300 boxes and we had to take orders for more.  The home was built in March 2012 and the children have moved in!  This completed her 9th home!! This year for WM, Isabelle designed a new card based on photos she'd seen of the home in Rukore, Uganda.  We took 400 boxes - that's 4000 cards to sell with all of the proceeds going to the life care costs for the children living in that home for 3 years. ...
