Kids Can Make A Difference

We want to introduce you to our new friend Cara Morrison. Cara & Isabelle didn't know each other until about 2 weeks ago, but I believe God has had their hearts knit together for some time. Cara is from Northwest Missouri & she has been working to raise $4000 to buy land for an orphanage in Zambia, Africa so they can have a garden. The week Isabelle was on TV, Cara was preparing for a talent show she had organized to raise the funds necessary to buy the land. She was so blessed & encouraged to see what Isabelle was doing, that she wanted to contact her & invite her to the talent show. Unfortunately we were unable to make it to the talent show, but Cara raised over $1000 & had a surprise visit from a touring African Children's Choir!!! Isn't that awesome!!! WAY TO GO CARA!!

When Isabelle was interviewed by Harry Smith - he asked her if she really thought little kids could make a difference - her response "they can!" This is probably my favorite line from her interviews. She has never doubted that she could make a difference for orphans - EVER. She has NO doubt that other kids can do the same thing! God used Isabelle's story at just the right time to encourage many, but specifically Cara who was working hard to get her talent show ready!

Cara & Isabelle got to speak by phone a week ago & are making plans to meet in person & play as 8 year olds do! This God-ordained connection continues to prove that God is moving to create awareness about the plight of orphans in ways that as human we cannot manufacture or create. He is moving kids, adults, grandparents, college students, business owners, small groups - will you be apart?

YOU CAN DO SOMETHING! What will it be? We would love for you to connect with Isabelle's Global Orphan Project . . . please leave us a post or contact the Global Orphan Project for more details. www.theglobalorphanproject.org

We intend to post updates on the progress of Isabelle's home as they are available. She is very close to finishing the 3rd home. Thanks to everyone who has donated, prayed, & encouraged her! We will update as we have info. . .
