God is speaking to my heart!

Last night, I was at BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) learning the Bible. We were studying Matthew 15 - where Jesus feeds the 4,000. Jesus went across the lake to a city and crowds came around him & they followed him to a mountain side. He healed the people & fed them. It felt like to me that God spoke to my heart. He said that the orphans out there are gathering around Him to be safe & to be in His real home. Just like the crowds gathered around Jesus to be safe & be healed. I think that God chose me to get a home built in Haiti.

Isabelle you are truely a child of God. Your wisdom and understanding of God's word is very great. I would love to help you raise the money for a home in Haiti. Let me know if i can help you raise the money. I need my cookies in another week. Call when you have them done. Maybe I could make a quilt for you to sale and the money could go for a home. Just thinking out loud. Love you sweet girl. Glad you are feeling better.

Why I Love Orphans

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!!! I feel this year will be full of promise and God's blessings.  Lately, I have been thinking about the true reason behind why I help orphans.  My work for Him comes from three main principles:  1.  Wait for HIS timing. Waiting on Him requires patience, it's not always easy, but who said following God and having patience would be easy? 2.  TRUST His plan for me. 1st Annual GO Project Run/Walk

What a fun morning with friends and for a GREAT cause! We were joined by our friends Myah & her mom Annie as we walked 3.2 miles for the Global Orphan Project. It was raining as we drove to the event, but THANKFULLY it did not rain on us at the walk! Isabelle was asked to start the race! She was pumped and got to blow a LOUD horn! She's in the pink pants/white shirt on the STUMP! Our 3 little racers finished in about 47 minutes!! Racin' for a great cause!

In September 2011, Isabelle designed a WM exclusive card in order to raise funds to build a home in Rukore Village, Uganda.  She sold out of the 300 boxes and we had to take orders for more.  The home was built in March 2012 and the children have moved in!  This completed her 9th home!! This year for WM, Isabelle designed a new card based on photos she'd seen of the home in Rukore, Uganda.  We took 400 boxes - that's 4000 cards to sell with all of the proceeds going to the life care costs for the children living in that home for 3 years. ...
